  It was a great idea to buy a bed rail. This particular one is good enough. There are millions there to choose from and I had a headache when searching for the one and not knowing which one is going to be really safe for my child.. My son has a queen size bed and the bed rail fits perfectly even for this size of bed. Now, having sure that my son is safe in bed I can sleep well. About the price: it is costly as for one bed rail. Some companies will offer 2 bed rails for the same price but I don't really care when it comes to safety because we can can not put a price on safety!

  The rail is a nylon mesh material that has held up well for over a month now. My son's bed has a pretty thick mattress and the rail comes up about a foot and there is no gab between the rail and bed. My three year old has had no problems sleeping with it so far. I may buy a second one for my parents' house. The only down side to this rail so far is it was a little difficult getting the nylon mesh over the metal frame. The instructions recommend two people complete this step in the assembly.

  The bed rail was everything we hoped it to be and even easier to use than expected. It was easy to put together and install on the bed. It is nice that it can easily go fully down during the day out of the way. Shipped on time. No issues. Good product!

  Cheap quality mesh guard fell apart at the seams

  This product, although highly recommended, did not meet my standards. The mesh guard was a good inch or two smaller than the size of the guard railings, and it was obvious that someone tried to simply stitch up the frayed seams. I could not even get the mesh to go over the metal railings. As it is, had it fit the metal railing, the quality was paper thin that it would not have lasted a night with my toddler. The metal railing was easy to assemble, but the whole point of the bed rail is the sturdiness of the mesh guard. Totally unhappy with this product.
