This highchair looks very nice but is very difficult to use. We use it for our granddaughter so it is not used as often as it would be in other households. The tray doesn't move which makes it hard to get her little legs under the tray without hurting her. The harness is a joke. It looks like it was an afterthought and is just too cumbersome to use. If we were ever going to leave her unattended in this chair we'd have to find another solution because we just don't use the belts. As mentioned by most reviews the cushion is covered in white duck canvass and easily soiled and not easily cleanable. In summary: Functionally this chair fails. Aesthetically it passes nicely. I also like the idea of it's use without the feeding tray as a booster seat later. Looking forward to that stage.Read More
I bought this for a 5 year old and a baby on the way. It's perfect for both, easy to put together and matches the dining room. Has plenty of stability for 5 year old.Read More
This chair works well and looks pretty good in eat-in kitchens, etc. (as in, doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like most highchairs). It has served my little boy pretty well. The price is good, as well, since the same thing in other brands is double the price. The 4 star rating instead of 5 is because of the straps on the seat. They do not stay laced around the plastic buckle very well. I had to double loop them. This *could pose a dangerous situation for small children if it comes undone.Read More
We bought two of them for our two kids and we could not have made a better investment. These high chairs are not only classy but very functional. They have stood up to the beating our kids have dished out over the last year and they still look great. I don't have any reason to believe that these chairs will not last for years while transforming as our kids grow. The are beautiful and functional...the removeable tray has been invaluable. Everyone that comes to our house and sees them asks where they can find them. Money well spent.Read More
I waited to write a review of this product until I had used it for a good amount of time. I read lots of reviews by first time parents who haven't even had the baby yet and only assembled the product. This chair is "pretty" and it matches my furniture. This is the only good thing I have to say. The back of the chair is not supportive and not adjustable. My son squirms all over the place in this chair. The tray is so far away that he can easily turn his body around (even with restraints). The restraints are in an akward position and EVERY time I use them it pinches my fingers and leave bruises. In addition the restraints are ALWAYS getting tangled and even though we have used this d*mn chair for 3 months, I always have to re-figure out how they work. The restraints DO NOT detatch from the wood, which means cleaning is a joke! Also the fabric of the restraints, is slick feeling and the buckle for them constantly comes off, which means I have to put it back on all the time. The wooden seat can slide forward and backward, my son especially loves to stand on the bottom board, use the pressure from the back of the knees to slide the seat part out and wha la! No seat to sit on. He can also do the same thing (in a different way) with the bottom plate. I have tried just removing the bottom plate, but then he screams. Overall he is just this 8 month old baby who is floating in this awful, uncomfortable high chair that he hates, and I loathe. Even writing this review makes me frustrated. This chair might be cool for a toddler who isn't quite ready to sit in a regular chair and doesn't want a booster seat. Other than that consider yourself warned!Read More
This high chair is great for all stages of a baby's growth. As an infant it better accomodates the smaller baby for feeding better than any other high chair I have seen. The next stage 6-12 months you can still use the tray portion and the child is still as secure. The overall size is smaller and less balky then the normal high chair. As the child ages, the tray portion comes completely off and then just push the chair up to the table but it is at a height that is accomodating to children and it doesn't require a booster seat. It also acts as a step stool when pushed over to the sink when the litlle ones want to help clean up or just play! This was also easy to put together. All in all I would recommend. The only reason for 4 stars is that I have only used for 2 months now and don't know how it will stand up to daily uses down the road. Good purchase.Read More
when I first opened the product and saw all the pieces, I was concerned. Actually, it was easy to put together and seems to be very sturdy. I love the simple design and the fact that the plastic tray is easily removable for cleaning. I highly recommend!Read More
I really love this highchair, in fact I bought two of them. I was looking for a highchair for my 5 month old that was nice because our house is small and it would have to be in the living room all the time. This chair fit the bill perfectly. It is really nice and versatile, should adjust as she grows. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the seat cushion, it is a vinyl pad covered in cloth and isn't easy to wipe off. I'm gonna make a wipeable one for it but I wish I didn't have to go to the effort. You can machine wash the cover it comes with though and it did come very clean when I washed it. Another note, your baby should be able to sit up well if you are going to use this chair, it does not recline and doesn't support their head so use something else for feeding until they can sit up really well. Great chair and fantastic price.Read More

How to Pick a Mat to Use Under an Office Chair
Carpeted floors usually provide too much resistance for office chairs with rollers to work well. In addition, rolling a chair over carpet will wear down the carpet fibers over time. Mats designed for these areas are a practical solution to both issues. Mats can also protect harder, uncarpeted floors -- such as vinyl or wood, from wear caused by chair rollers. There are several styles and colors of these mats. When choosing a mat to use under your rolling office chair, it's not always best to choose the first one you see -- some are more suitable for low-pile carpets or wood floors, and some are perfect for use on heavy, thick carpeting.
