This high chair is great for all stages of a baby's growth. As an infant it better accomodates the smaller baby for feeding better than any other high chair I have seen. The next stage 6-12 months you can still use the tray portion and the child is still as secure. The overall size is smaller and less balky then the normal high chair. As the child ages, the tray portion comes completely off and then just push the chair up to the table but it is at a height that is accomodating to children and it doesn't require a booster seat. It also acts as a step stool when pushed over to the sink when the litlle ones want to help clean up or just play! This was also easy to put together. All in all I would recommend. The only reason for 4 stars is that I have only used for 2 months now and don't know how it will stand up to daily uses down the road. Good purchase.
when I first opened the product and saw all the pieces, I was concerned. Actually, it was easy to put together and seems to be very sturdy. I love the simple design and the fact that the plastic tray is easily removable for cleaning. I highly recommend!
I really love this highchair, in fact I bought two of them. I was looking for a highchair for my 5 month old that was nice because our house is small and it would have to be in the living room all the time. This chair fit the bill perfectly. It is really nice and versatile, should adjust as she grows. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the seat cushion, it is a vinyl pad covered in cloth and isn't easy to wipe off. I'm gonna make a wipeable one for it but I wish I didn't have to go to the effort. You can machine wash the cover it comes with though and it did come very clean when I washed it. Another note, your baby should be able to sit up well if you are going to use this chair, it does not recline and doesn't support their head so use something else for feeding until they can sit up really well. Great chair and fantastic price.
The problem is that it is difficult to get the child in and out of the high chair as the tray does not move. My grandson is only eight months old, and the wooden bar that is under the tray is to close to the seat making it difficut to get into and out of the seat. The strap at the front of the seat is also hard to connect the straps to and unclip when removing the child. I would not reccommend because of this. I do not know how a larger baby would fit under that wooden piece.

The chair is used by everyone in the house, not just our baby girl. My 3 yr old grandson uses it as a chair and kitchen ladder. Multi-useful for years to come

Although the chair looked good, we were unable to assemble it correctly because the pre-drilled holes did not match up. It was extremely hard to get an eight month old baby in because of the front crossbar. The plastic tray was damaged when it arrived, but we did get another promptly before we found there were other problems.
- How accurate was the sizing? Too small to get a baby in comfortably.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality was not what I expected.
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? no, tray was damaged. They prompty send a replacement. Then the pre-drilled holes didn't line up to assemble.
Couldn't use the buckles and our toddler would get out of it in 1 min. It needs improvements.
I waited to write a review of this product until I had used it for a good amount of time. I read lots of reviews by first time parents who haven't even had the baby yet and only assembled the product. This chair is "pretty" and it matches my furniture. This is the only good thing I have to say. The back of the chair is not supportive and not adjustable. My son squirms all over the place in this chair. The tray is so far away that he can easily turn his body around (even with restraints). The restraints are in an akward position and EVERY time I use them it pinches my fingers and leave bruises. In addition the restraints are ALWAYS getting tangled and even though we have used this d*mn chair for 3 months, I always have to re-figure out how they work. The restraints DO NOT detatch from the wood, which means cleaning is a joke! Also the fabric of the restraints, is slick feeling and the buckle for them constantly comes off, which means I have to put it back on all the time. The wooden seat can slide forward and backward, my son especially loves to stand on the bottom board, use the pressure from the back of the knees to slide the seat part out and wha la! No seat to sit on. He can also do the same thing (in a different way) with the bottom plate. I have tried just removing the bottom plate, but then he screams. Overall he is just this 8 month old baby who is floating in this awful, uncomfortable high chair that he hates, and I loathe. Even writing this review makes me frustrated. This chair might be cool for a toddler who isn't quite ready to sit in a regular chair and doesn't want a booster seat. Other than that consider yourself warned!
We have a large family room/ living room/ kitchen area so the chair looks really nice with our decor and we will be able to use it as she grows. We loved our so much that we bought an additional one to keep at my mom's house. My daughter loves it and other chairs I've seen with this same design were $200+. We are very happy with it.
- How accurate was the sizing? Very Accurate
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The structre is high quality, but the seat pad is burlap. Very easy to cover though! And the seatpad comes off easily for washing.
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? There was a small crack on the removable tray insert, but still usable.
Great high chair. Looks really nice next to dining room table. Only problems are that cushion is very thin with no cover and color is darker than what I expected.

I think this is the first negative review I've ever bothered to write... We'd bought this high-chair as it seemed to offer an attractive, sleek, furniture-like and simple alternative to the oversized, cutesy, plastic-y, food-trapping versions out there. If that's your desire too, keep shopping. The safety belts are incredibly poorly designed. They flop all over, and must constantly be untangled and repositioned before sliding your kid behind the fixed tray. Adjusting the hight of the seat is an incredible nuisance, requiring a rubber mallet and way too much time and patience. The meager seat pad has a narrow velcro strip to attach it to the chair, and the canvas cover shrinks horribly in the wash. Apparently it was 'hand wash cool/drip dry' and I missed those instructions; if so, shame on them for making a kids' high-chair cover that's not machine washable. Anyway, after the first washing, the cover was too small to fit back over the 'cushion', which therefore was no longer able to attach to the high-chair itself. So kiddo was sitting on the slippery, hard, bare seat after the first washing. We ended up enduring this junky chair for a few months, and then moved our daughter to a booster seat at the regular table. I could not have been happier to send this thing out with the garbage/recycling, and was sorry to have wasted my money on it in the first place.
Beautiful chair which compliments our exisiting furniture which is why we choose this one over a garish plastic one. Neat in propotions slides easily up to table. Reasonably lightweight so easy to move about. Tray is only supposed to be used when the seat is in the highest position. We found this impracitical. Our daugher is 7 months old and very small for her age but we struggled to get her into the seat in the highest position and more importantly really struggled to get her out as her legs got stuck. We've now moved it to the second position and continue to use the tray and that works fine. I can imagine that for larger babies it would be a significant problem. On the plus side the plastic tray cover is very handy and can be washed in the dishwasher - very hygenic. Overall we're very pleased with the chair although had we stuck to the manufacturers instructions regarding seat and tray position, we would then no longer be using it.
- How accurate was the sizing? fairly accurate
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Disappointing - there were quite a few deep scratches on the woodwork
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? no - deep scratches
We bought this high chair for our 27 month old grandson to use when he visits. The high chair was easily assembled and looks great.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Seems to be good quality. Went together easily.

The seat is my only complaint - it is covered in a washable WHITE linen... ummm... who uses white lined for a highchair?

it's a beautiful chair and you will get compliments. But it's not baby friendly! it's difficult to get them in and out, I wish that it had pieces that could snap in and out, but everything is fixed. I've had it for 7 mos and cant figure how to use the safety belt, it's all wrong. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy.

Really like this chair. There is only one thing I would change and that would be to have the tray moveable and not stationary.

Very easy to put together ( it took about 20 minutes). It will look great around the dinning room table and very high quality. We will use this for years...
I love this chair because it's not an eyesore in the kitchen/dining room. We started putting our 3 month old in the seat, supported with a rolled up towel. He's 10 months now and it's all holding up great, even the plastic tray which gets licked by the dog, sent through the dishwasher, and scrubbed with the scratchy green side of the sponge every day. The only drawback is the fact you have to slide the kid in and out of the seat, and that the seat board will only fit in the highest two positions with the tray attached. My 31" tall baby still fits fine behind it, though. I've made a couple of slip covers for the seat pad which is attached with velcro (the hook side of the tape is attached to the wood), but laying a towel down works just fine, too, if you don't want to wash the included cover all the time.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. very good quality for the price - the dark finish is showing a bit of wear after about 7 months
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? yes
It is my mistake, but I thought this was as high as a common high chair. It really works well, for being around a table, but not around an island, or one of the new high tables. It is too short. It came with some scratches, but the manufacture sent us new parts right away. My daughter pointed out that if a child is choking, you can not get them out with a quick release. It would be hard to get them out quickly, since it is made of wood, and you have to slide the baby in and out. So, I guess this would be best for a larger toddler.
