This is a great sling, my son loves it. On-line videos on how to use are very helpful. Can work as a nursing cover too.

I have several slings and carriers, and this one is by far the simplest and easiest to use. No complicated wrapping and tying, no messing with buckles, just sit baby in there and go. However, it is not as secure as some of the more complex slings, so this one is the one I use mostly when baby is fussy and wants to be carried, but I have to do simple housework etc., where I can still keep one hand on baby most of the time, but appreciate the sling as "extra" support. I would not use it for a long walk or an extended shopping trip, but it's great just for around the house. It was also one of the only slings that worked for our newborn when she was too little to use the kind of carriers that go between their legs. In this one she could have her legs scrunched up like many newborns prefer.

This is the only comfortable baby carrier that I have found. I have tried both sling and soft carriers similar to this Baby Bjorn, but they were very uncomfortable and caused back strain and pain for me. This carrier is comfortable for both me and baby (now toddler.) The leather is easy to wipe clean and will last forever and still look great. Black goes with everything. My baby loved being carried facing me when she was tiny, now she loves riding in it while facing the world as a toddler. If you are considering this item, but are worried that it costs more than it's worth... it doesn't. Save yourself the frustration of trying four other carriers (like I did) before finding a good one that you and your baby will love. This carrier is adjustable, so it grows with baby, and will last through however many children you will have. The only downside is that baby cannot ride facing away from you *on your back* with this carrier. It works with baby facing toward your back if worn in that position, but not facing away from your body. If baby is worn in front of you, then he/she can face either direction. Not a big deal for me, since that's not a position in which I would use a carrier, but it is one thing that some other carriers offer (including one other Baby Bjorn carrier model.) If your baby is a drooler/chewer and you wear him/her facing away from you, burp cloths can be folded over the carrier edge and tucked under the fold to prevent baby from chewing the carrier. Buying the specially designed bib is not a requirement. This is a great way to be mobile with a baby. I only regret not purchasing this three kids ago!

My granddaughter has a 2 year old and a new baby. With the Hugamonkey she can get things done and keep both children happy.

Skip the snuggies, bjorn and all the other crap carriers. This is perfect and my daughter loves it. It truly does grow with your baby. She slept in it hammock style for her first 3-4 months, then she sat up in it facing front and now she uses it as a sling on my hip. This was the only carrier besides our Ergo and a copycat sling my sister made us that we have had success with. And easy to use - nothing to adjust at all. Save your money and buy this.

I guess this product is good, maybe i'm just not used to the sling, it fits me well but i get the feeling my baby is not too confortable there... Maybe she's too little for the sling I dont know... is confortable for me but i don't know if i can say the same for my little baby....

This is exactly the type of sling not to buy. The baby, if fully inside wrap, is squished into ball like a rolly-polly. I had to check the whole time I had my daughter in it to see if she was breathing. There is also no way to expand when the baby grows. Don't waste your money like I did. There are much better options out there.

I found this uncomfortable and my baby didn't seem comfortable with it either. May be I just don't know how to use it correctly.

The fabric used for this sling is cheap cotton; it allows no stretch for your baby, there is no give in the material AT ALL which becomes incredibly uncomfortable very quickly for both of you. I would not buy this sling again, but I have heard the organic version has much more stretch which seems to be a common issue with this model. Also, everything from lint to hair to you name it sticks to the sling, it looks awful and I've literally used it a handful of times and there are no pets in our home. This is a non-returnable item which I was bummed to find out. I wish the organic sling would have been in stock at the time. Bright Side: I do however love the design. It is sooo easy and uncomplicated like all those hoopla slings and wraps with 40 obnoxious yards of fabric. This is definitely for the mother on the go.

Not a totally bad product but not what I expected. Its plain thin cotton cloth. Well reinforced. Easy to use as it simply slips over your shoulder but it would not really safely hold a baby as pictured. It does help support baby but you still have to keep a hand on him, it would be easy for him to slip out of this sling. It will work for what I wanted it for, a little support when carrying little one upstairs......I expected it to be a stretchy material, it is not. NOT great but somewhat helpful as a baby sling. I think i could easily have made one better, just using thicker stretchier material .

My monkey and I love the HugaMonkey! As a little one, he could stretch out and nurse or sleep. We've used it everywhere and it has been great! Now that he's older we can use it to carry him on my hip so my hands are free but hes still "upa upa." It can be difficult to use until you get the hang of it. Once I learned, I loved it!!!! My advice - practice with it such as doing housework until you get it comfortably positioned and can duplicate it.

Got this for my 4-year-old granddaughter for Christmas so she mimic her mother who has a sling for my newest granddaughter! She loves it and carries everything in it (not just baby dolls)!

I wanted to "wear" my newborn, as he loves to always be near me. Unfortunately, I couldn't even get him in the sling. I bought a small as recommended by my frame and measurements. Nope. My baby was only 6.6 lbs. and I could not get more than his legs in the sling. Sizing does NOT account for breast size, especially if you are breast feeding. Given how much I spent on this item, I am hoping to salvage some use once my son can hold up his own head.

Sling did what it said but I never felt totally comfortable with the baby in it. I will try a wrap for the next one. Material was very linty.

The sling is as advertised. The only issue I have with it is the sizing. I ordered a medium and my 8lb baby girl barely fits. I ordered a large in stone and it's much more comfortable. Also the black seems to catch a lot more lint and such then the stone. The stone probably has it too, but it really stands out in the black.

I ordered this product to carry my little Min Pin dog in. He loves being in it up next to my heart and I love holding him in it as it frees my hands and I can hold him and do other things also. I love Overstock and thank you for such a lovely site to shop.

I would have sent it back but didn't know how to get it back to you. It is extra small and didn't even fit over my breast area let alone be able to handle the baby. I bet the sizing was wrong or something. I didn't use it as it didn't fit and because of this issue we give it a zero, would not recommend to anyone.
