This tub is not adapted for infants! I have used it couple of times when my baby was about 3-4 weeks. It is not comfortable and it is very hard to hold the baby in it! I have switched to an inflatable tub; so much more comfy. Baby loves it and is still using it at 5 months old.

My 4 month old loves this playmat! He laughs at the music and lights, enjoys the bright colors of the mat, especially likes checking himself out in the mirror. He enjoys the hanging ornaments (except for the cloud & sun, which seems a bit hard with pointed edges and a little out of place with the rest of the mat). I like the flexibility of the arms that allows him to play with it at different angles. It also makes it easy to get him in and out. Set up was quick. No problems thus far.

I loved the little shoes -- will buy more! Very soft and durable. Arrived at my home promptly-as they suggested. They make a wonderful shower or birthday gift for babies and young children.

This is a cute little item but not real well made. It is kind of lightweight and not real well woven or fortified at the handles. I believe that it would work for a baby for a couple of months but I would not trust the straps to hold up too well if you are carrying the child around a lot. For the price, it probably is worth it but I would not depend on it holding up over time to be passed on to friends or other relatives.

Our new granddaughter-2months was going to visit and we needed a bed for her. Since she would only be her 2 days i didn't want to spend a lot. This bed served it's purpose well. The quality of sheet wasn't great. Didn't look like sheet would stay on very well and it did to my surprise! Now it will be a bed for our cat Princess Catalina!

My granddaughter is extremely content while in this swing. The detachable seat is handy, and it swings two directions.
When you’re getting ready to welcome home a new baby, you may be unsure which baby products you really need. You want to give your baby the best, but the best may be different for every baby. You may feel that you need to be knowledgeable about products you have never used or even considered before. But as a parent, you can trust your instincts. Bottles are an important purchase, and there are different types for different ages. Younger babies generally need a longer nipple with a slower flow. If you’re planning on breastfeeding, you may want to look into a breast pump to free up time and make your life more convenient; it will also make it easier for family members to tend to the new little one. Babies spend a lot of time sleeping, so make sure yours has a comfortable place. You may want to start with a bassinet or co-sleeper, or you may want to get a crib right away. Keeping your baby warm is important as well; tiny bodies can lose heat fast. Baby bedding will keep your infant comfortable and safe. Swaddling blankets are excellent for warmth and security in the first few months.
When you’re bringing a new family member into the household, you’re going to need to design and decorate a new space for her. Your baby is going to need a place to lay her head, and you can set the scene for slumber with nursery furniture. A bassinet, cradle, or co-sleeper is often the choice for newborns. You can pull it right up next to your bed for middle-of-the-night feedings. After the first three to six months, if you’re not co-sleeping, a crib will be necessary. All new cribs will meet or exceed safety standards. After you have the frame, pick a firm crib mattress. Once your baby has a place to sleep, you can let your taste tell you what else the nursery needs. A dresser is helpful for storing diapers and baby clothes. You may also want to use a changing table. A good rocking chair can provide an ideal seat for nursing or rocking your little one to sleep.
Are you ready to bring your baby home? A safe, easy-to-use car seat is essential to taking her in the car. When buying a car seat, make sure to measure your backseat and buy something appropriately sized. The most important aspect is safety; make sure to read reviews before making your decision. When you install the car seat, read your car's user manual as well as the car seat manual. Children up to two years old should be secured in a rear-facing car seat. Convertible car seats allow you to use the same seat for a longer period of time, as they can be rear facing or front facing. Pay attention to the weight limit for the car seat, so you can move your child up to a booster car seat when it’s recommended. A car seat travel system includes an infant carrier that attaches to a car seat base and to a stroller. This is a smart option if you plan to use all three items. When your baby is small, it will save you the hassle of constantly moving her from the seat to the stroller.
For a baby, playtime is essential for development. Infant activity gear is beneficial in developing motor functions as well as critical thinking skills. And in many cases, the gear that keeps them stimulated also keeps them safe while you have a hands-free minute. Baby play yards are great spaces for impromptu naps while also providing Baby with a place to play in rooms that have yet to be baby-proofed. They are even portable enough to take with you on trips where a crib is not an option. Baby swings and bouncers can make your life as a parent much easier. They keep your baby busy and happy while you get chores done around the house. When choosing between a swing and a bouncer, keep your allotted space in mind. Swings are larger, but some babies prefer the motion. It’s helpful if you have a chance to try a friend's swing or bouncer before you buy, so you can test your child’s preference. Another fun option for playtime is a play mat. Play mats are available for even the youngest of babies, and they aide in developing motor skills from a very young age. These are the perfect place for tummy time, where your baby can get off her back and work on her neck strength.
