Baby

Whether you're having a boy or a girl, or even twins, preparing for a new baby can be exciting and overwhelming at the same time. First-time parents will likely need to start from scratch, while other parents may have a few hand-me-downs from big brothers and sisters. One thing is for sure: You'll need to have your baby covered from the nursery to the car and everywhere in between.
Start by getting the nursery ready for the arrival of your little one with the baby furniture you'll need to take care of your little one. Set up your nursery with a crib, a changing table and dresser, plus a rocking chair for feeding and rocking your child to sleep. Once you have the basics down, you can then fill the room with decorations, books and toys to entertain your little one.
Safety is important, so you'll want to prepare for your new arrival by buying all the safety gear you need. Look for car seats, strollers and other baby gear to keep your little one secure. Babies have different needs at different ages, so keep up with your child's growth with appropriate gear. Until your baby reaches 12 months or older, she should sit in a rear-facing car seat, and strollers, carriers and other gear should have plenty of back and neck support. As your child grows, she'll need a bigger car seat and stroller to keep her safe and comfortable.
Raising a kid is an everyday job, so make sure you have plenty of the day-to-day basics on hand. Babies grow quickly, so stock up on plenty of baby clothing in each size, especially bodysuits, socks and hats. Be ready for diaper changes with a diaper bag stocked full of diapers and wipes, and keep your little one happy with pacifiers and bottles. When your baby is happy, you're happy.

My son loved this bouncer way more than I expected. He stares at the fish and loves the blinking lights. He sometimes would rather be in this seat and rock than be held. I recommend this seat to any mom!

I would definately recommend this product. My son is currently 6 months old and it has helped a great deal in making sure he can sit up in the bath tub and not slip down under the water. He is kind of a "string bean," so if he tries to lay back, in a relaxed position, he tends to get wedged under the backrest of the seat, which is not good; so watch out for that! Other than that, I truly do like this product and still highly recommend it. I did a lot of research on other bath seats and I am pleased that I made this selection.

The bad: The plastic is brittle, cheapish. The design is ugly, unwieldy, handle placement is useless, drippy, it's difficult to refill, no way to hold it securely when refilling, the screw cap doesn't screw on easily, it's pink. On the good: it was cheaply bought (**$total), the double nozzle allows for 2 flow directions, nozzle is removable, nozzle blows air up but it still settles and condenses around the unit, best to put it near a fan, the flow rate of moisture is easily adjustable, tank empties itself at the highest flow rate after 8-10 hrs, the unit itself is smaller than many models, it's still working after 2.5 wks of almost continuous use. Overall, pretty good bang for the buck. I use it to maintain humidity on my plants so drippage is not an issue. NYC municipal water is pretty low in salts (<50TDS) so I don't get the white residue but unit still requires regular cleaning.

    • How accurate was the sizing? accurate
    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. average, on the cheaper side

So far we love it. The blanket is super soft and pretty. Love the ruffle on the bumper and bright colors of the striped pattern, which contrast with the lighter paisley fabric. We plan to name our little girl Paisley, so I am thrilled to have found such a pretty paisley patterned set!

    • How accurate was the sizing? Skirt is a little short length wise, so the corners aren't covered very well.
    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Fabric is nice quality. Bright colors, Clear print. Baby isn't here yet so the bedding hasn't actually been used or even washed yet, but so far it looks really nice!

Good seat but BEWARE when buying it from overstock

    disneyfamilyfive  from wisconsin, Rating:4.0

Car seat is great...canopy a little flimsy but offers good coverage...at least the same as other infant seat. The straps are a little thinner then some other seats we looked at which doesn't not affect safety but seems to possibly twist a little easier if you are not careful. Fabric is nice, plush, soft. The removable head support seems sturdy enough to actually support compared to some other brands we looked at... HOWEVER buyer beware that while you think you might be saving some money by purchasing this seat from overstock, vs other online stores, but what you will find out when you open the box is that they are selling a seat that is already 2 years old. The one we just received was manufactured in March of 2010 (It's now Feb 2012). Car seats are only good for 6 years, and hospitals will not even let you leave for with an expired or nearly expired seat!! So if you plan to have more then one child...beware, you will likely need to purchase a different seat for your next child. ...

    • How accurate was the sizing? fine
    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. good
    • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? no, just that the manufacture date is already 2 years old...not manufactures fault though
