I got the unit and wired it to the vehicles battery with larger gauge wire then it asked for just so I wouldn¿t run into any issues. The load I had on it was 800 watt which the unit powered at first. After 5 to 7 minutes the inverter kept turning off. I would then reset it and the units would work for another 5 minutes until it turned off again. I called the manufacturer's technical help line but they told me it was hooked up right and the unit should work. After a couple of days trying to figure out how to get it to work properly I gave up and sent it back for a different unit. The next unit I got was made by a different company which worked fine.
