Basically this is an ugly green and white plastic tray with a small patch of fake grass on top. Save your money and make your own by getting supplies from ***********. My puppy kinda peed on it but mostly wanted to tear it up and destroy. Maybe when he's older....Good luck to whomever gets their dogs to use this!!Read More
I purchased this product hoping that it will help me with my Chihuahua puppy but it didnt. I thought the fake grass was going to be more realistic then it really was. My dog ignored it completely. Paid no attention to it what so ever. And the price for the refills is crazy. I work at a hardware store and can get the same product for less. Glad I didnt get the refills. I get the whole concept of this product but it just wasnt for me and my pup.Read More
My dog used this right away. I put it in the laundry room, and he uses it in emergencies when I'm not home or there is a severe storm outside. It's sturdy and easy to rinse. I thought it might be too small at first, but he hasn't missed it yet. Since I bought this he doesn't go on the rug in the washroom anymore.Read More
This is a great product, now if I can just get my dog to use it.Read More
This patch is good for VERY little dogs only. I have a miniature dachshund and he doesn't always fit (he's only 9lbs) so for yorkies and chi's it should be ok. I use it when I know im going to be out longer then usual just in case and then put it away again. The whole contraption is reasonable quality minus the grass pad. Washing that thing is impossible without creating a royal mess of black plastic goop everywhere. It is just super fragile and to keep it from being smelly you HAVE to wash it. I put a puppy pad inside the thing to help with cleaning. All in all, it does a decent job. If the grass pad was better quality it would be awesome!Read More
The plastic "grass" hurt my puppy's feet. It is disgusting to clean. I stopped trying to use it within a day.Read More

How to Use Potty Chairs for Potty Training
As your child becomes a toddler, it's time add potty chairs to your diapering and potty training supplies. Make potty training easier for both you and your child by giving him a potty chair that's just his size. The transition from diapering to potty training is an important step in your child's life, and having the right potty chair can make all the difference. How do you know which potty chair to choose? The following tips can help you find potty training chairs that will make you and your baby happy at potty time.
Best Potty-Training Techniques
Potty training a child is no easy task. Although children will respond to each potty-training method individually, there are a few techniques that mothers swear by and experts approve. It is important to pinpoint your child's temperament before beginning the toilet training process and to experiment with different methods. Total potty training will not be achieved overnight, and parents should expect trial and error. Keep a schedule. Children respond well to schedules. If you have found that your child functions best with schedules for sleep and other activities, then a toilet training schedule is probably going to be effective. Build a reasonable schedule that is right for you and your child and be sure to stick with it. Be clear with nannies, babysitters and childcare workers about your child's potty schedule for the best results. Give rewards. The reward method often works well for children. Many children will find potty training more trouble than it is worth and rewards can give them an incentive to do their best. Determine a reward for your child. Small pieces of candy, sticker charts and pennies for their piggy bank are all good options. Explain the reward system to your child when you are talking about potty training. Make sure you frequently ask your child if she has to use the toilet, and take her to the bathroom each time she says she must go. If you prefer to avoid material rewards, use extra praise or a made-up song, dance or story as a potty reward. Let your child set the timetable. Waiting until your child is ready for potty training is highly effective, low stress and recommended by many pediatricians. When you feel the time is right, show your child how to use the toilet. Books, DVDs and CDs with toilet training lessons can also be effective. While this method will take some time and patience, eventually your child will take interest in potty training and get the hang of it. Using a schedule and reward system when your child is starting to comprehend potty training can help him make the connection. If your child is resistant to potty training, give him some more time and let him take a natural interest.
How to Train Your Cat to Use a Litter Box

Also, what do you do if your litter-box trained cat suddenly begins to have accidents in other parts of your home? How to Choose the Right Dog Kennel Size
One of the first things you need for a new dog is a quality dog kennel. The right dog kennel can help potty train your puppy, make traveling and vet visits with your dog easier, and give your dog a cozy place to curl up at night or to keep out of mischief while you're away. The wrong size dog kennel, however, can make things uncomfortable for your pooch and a pain for you. As a rule of thumb, kennels and crates should be at least 4 inches taller and longer than your dog and allow him to stand, sit, and turn around easily. You'll also want to make sure there is water and a blanket or towel in there for him. These guidelines can help you find the right fit for your pup when shopping for dog kennels.
Training a Dog to Sleep in a Dog Kennel
Whether you have a new puppy or an old dog, getting him to sleep in a kennel can be a chore. Maybe he wants to sleep with you on your bed, or perhaps he prefers to snooze on the sofa. With a little bit of training and encouragement, however, you can train your dog to sleep in a kennel at night. These tips can help you train a dog to sleep in a dog kennel instead of on your furniture.
Puppy Care Checklist
A new puppy is an exciting addition to any family. Bringing a new pet into your home, however, takes a lot of work, especially when the new addition is still a baby. With a little bit of special care, training, and patience, you can help your puppy settle into his new home.
How To Clean Gym Shoes
With weight lifting, walking and jogging, gym shoes must withstand a lot of wear and can become dirty quickly. Proper cleaning will not only make women's athletic shoes and men's athletic shoes look their best but may also make them last longer. If you wear your gym shoes mainly for workouts indoors, a good cleaning once every two weeks should be sufficient. If, on the other hand, you wear athletic shoes outdoors, you may need to clean them once a week or more frequently to remove soil and grass stains. Cleaning athletic shoes, however, does not require much time or equipment.
Treadmills vs Elliptical Trainers
New variations of tried-and-true exercise machines are always being introduced to the market as the technology of exercise equipment improves. Two exercise machines that have gained popularity are elliptical trainers and treadmills. A major advantage to elliptical trainers is that they possess little risk of injury to the knees, hips, back or ankles. Meanwhile, treadmills are home gym machines on which you can run, walk or jog. The treadmill has been in the marketplace for a long time and is a long-standing piece of standard equipment for most exercise enthusiasts. Elliptical Machines: Elliptical machines present a lower risk of injury to the body. This home gym machine allows the individual to stand in an upright position while supporting her upper body by holding onto the handrails. The individual is able to pick out what muscles to train by shifting the strength on the legs or the arms. This provides for a more flexible workout machine. The machine bears its name because it works to copy the foot's elliptical motion as well as the rotation of the hip during walking or running. Advantages of Elliptical Machines: Since elliptical machines work the upper and lower body, they help you reach your target heart rate more optimally, providing a better cardiovascular workout overall. Individuals can burn a larger number of calories in a shorter period of time. Muscles that benefit from this machine include the legs, shoulders, chest, biceps, triceps and the back. Elliptical machines are also relatively easy to operate and are energy efficient because they do not use much electricity. Treadmills: Traditional treadmills were developed to help you walk, run or jog. Treadmills differ in advantages as there are some machines that have programs that can be customized based on your weight and fitness level. You can also manually control the program to increase or decrease the speed, the incline or the duration of the workout. Walking on a traditional treadmill, however, creates more impact on the knees and hips and may be a cause of injury for some users. Advantages of Treadmills: Some treadmill models have a cushioned surface to support the knees and other parts of the body. With these models, there is a lower risk of injury and an increased level of comfort for the user. Moreover, treadmills provide you with the option to run, jog or walk in the comfort of the gym. Also, you can burn calories by increasing the heart rate, providing a good cardiovascular workout. Buy Home Gym Machines Back to Guides Directory Buy Home Gym Machines
