Club O Rewards F.A.Q
Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions from our Club O Members. Did we miss something? Send us an email and we’ll find the answers!
- Why join Club O? What do I get?
- Well, for one thing, you get to be part of the in crowd. But you also get at least 5% of your purchase back in Club O Dollars*, plus FREE SHIPPING and access to extra rewards on specially selected items. You’ll also get exclusive Club O previews of our sales events, so you can be the first to get a great deal.
- How does it work?
- Once you’re a member, you'll earn Club O Dollars on most purchases you make on Overstock.com. You won’t earn Rewards Dollars on purchases paid for with Overstock.com Gift Cards, In-Store Credit, or Club O™ Rewards. International orders, cellular telephone service plans, Club O Memberships and transactions generated within the Cars, Community, Vacations and any tab other than the “Shopping” tab are also excluded from earning Club O Dollars.
- When will I get my 5% Reward Dollars?
- Your rewards will show up in your account as soon as your order ships. Remember, it's not an instant discount; you’re earning Club O Dollars for use on future Overstock.com purchases. You can use your Club O Dollars as soon as you get them, or save them up for a large purchase down the line.
- So, how do I use my Club O Rewards?
- Simple. Once you’re finished adding items to your cart, proceed to checkout. In the “Payment Information” section, check the “Use Club O Rewards” box and you’ll be asked how many Club O Dollars you want to spend. Enter the amount, then click “Submit Order Now” and you’re done!
- Do I have to use all my rewards at once?
- They’re your rewards, so you can use them however you want! You choose how many of your Reward Dollars to apply towards a purchase.
- What if my rewards don’t cover the cost of my order?
- If you don’t have enough to cover the whole cost, you'll be charged the difference, just like any other purchase that doesn’t use rewards. If you don’t want to use all your rewards at once, you don't have to.
- How does free shipping work?
- One of the great things about being a Club O member is that it gives you FREE SHIPPING on all your orders every day of the year. But please note, free shipping does not apply to orders shipped to Alaska or Hawaii or to orders under $25 that consist solely of media items (that’s books, movies, media, and video games). Since it saves you extra money on top of the rewards you’re already earning, FREE SHIPPING is one of the best parts of being a Club O member.
- What’s excluded?
- You mean, is there anything you can’t spend your Reward Dollars on? Nope. Nothing. Except things sold through a third party, like cars, travel and insurance.
- How much is Club O?
- It’s $19.95 for the first year of membership, and $14.95 to renew. The savings keep stacking up!
- How do I renew? When can I renew?
- Renewing couldn’t be easier. We'll send you reminder emails, so you can renew by clicking on the link there, or you can add it to your cart from here and proceed to checkout. You can renew at any time! Even if you just signed up yesterday, you can renew your membership today — then you don’t have to worry about it for two years.
- Can I use my Reward Dollars to renew my membership?
- You clever thing, of course you can!
- Do my Reward Dollars expire? How do I get them back?
- Unfortunately, they do — but only when your Club O Membership expires. Once your membership expires you’ll lose access to your Reward Dollars, but they’ll still be there waiting for you. As long as you renew your Club O membership within 90 days you'll get them back! After the 90 days are up they’re gone for good; so don’t put off renewing your membership.
- Can I donate or transfer my Reward Dollars?
- Not right now, but we’re looking into it.
- If I cancel my membership do I get a prorated refund of my annual fee?
- No, sorry. The Club O membership fee is non-refundable.
- Will I receive a reminder when my membership is about to expire?
- Indeed you will! We’ll send you several reminder emails before your Club O membership expires, so you’ll have plenty of chances to renew.
- Is Club O a credit card?
- No way! There’s no credit check, no interest, and no statements in the mail; just rewards for shopping. We do have a credit card, though; click here if you're interested.
- I want more perks; what can I do?
- Who doesn’t want more rewards? You can sign up for our credit card to earn even more rewards on Overstock.com purchases, 8% rewards to be exact! Plus, you’ll earn Club O Dollars on purchases made elsewhere; the gas station, grocery store, even your local dry cleaner. You can also shop on our Extra Rewards page and earn rewards even faster.
- How do I cancel my membership?
- Although we hate to see you go, we do understand that sometimes things don’t work out. We value your feedback and hope you’ll tell us why you’re leaving when you call us at 1-800-843-2446 or email us at clubo@overstock.com.
