In 2013, Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) started when several veterans and friends took action to help others in need. Today, they serve over 50,000 post-9/11 veterans living with the visible and invisible wounds of war. Wounded Warrior Project® offers 20 direct programs and services that are uniquely designed to engage warriors, nurture their minds and bodies, and encourage economic empowerment. Warrior families and caregivers are provided comfort, care, and education to help support the recovery of their injured warrior. Visit wwp10.org to see how far the organization has come and watch the exclusive documentary series, "Wounded: The Battle Back Home," airing every fourth Sunday on MSNBC as part of the "Taking the Hill" series.
