good value and quality-- bought the warranty
We needed a second vacuum and the Dyson gets very strong reviews but new ones are high in price. Buying a reconditioned one seemed a good step and with the extended warranty will insure the value. After ordering, it arrived in about a week, looks new, and is a very good performer in these opening weeks of pet fur, pollen, and outdoor dust. We are very well satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to others.

The extra assurance is worth it because it is an expensive item to replace plus it is a refurbished item and who knows what was wrong with it that in needed to be refurbished.

I made sure to get this for the KitchenAid Mixer I got for my son at Christmas, newer things seem to break easier than the older ones...I wanted to make sure it would be repaired if anything happens.

Dyson Vacuum
I purchased a Dyson Animal upright from Overstock and was EXTREMELY disappointed. A friend of mine had a Dyson and I absolutely loved it. I found a great deal on Overstock and purchased the vacuum along with this protection plan. When I received the vacuum I was shocked at how cheap it was. I spent *** on a Dyson and could have gotten a better vacuum at Walmart for ***! It was flimsy, poorly refurbished, and didn't suck anything up off my carpet. Overstock's rating for it was very high, so I figured people loved it. Don't trust the ratings on this site. I promptly returned the vacuum, and realized that I wasn't refunded my full purchase price. In the tiny print somewhere, Overstock doesn't allow for free returns (although the return label said it was pre-paid). They took out about *** in return-fees for a poorly manufactured vacuum that they're selling on their site. This was my first and LAST time using Overstock. A friend of mine warned me about the site, and I should have listened. Needles to say, I went to a department store and purchased a Hoover Windtunnel for ***, and am very satisfied. I will never purchase anything off this scam of a site, and will never recommend this to any of my friends. I thought purchasing the protection plan was going to save me from the hassle of being charged extra return fees, but it did not.
