Did you know that the air pollutant levels inside your home, car, office or school may be two to five times higher, and in some cases even 100 times higher, than the air outside? With a Dyson vacuum cleaner, you can conquer that problem.
The simple concept of taking something and making it better is echoed throughout all of the appliances Dyson manufactures. Not only has Dyson improved the cleaning power and efficiency of vacuum cleaners, but they can also improve the air you breathe in your home. In fact, the air expelled from a Dyson vacuum has up to 150 times less bacteria and mold than the air you breathe.
Dyson upright vacuum cleaners are the first to be Certified Asthma and Allergy Friendly
by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America for their superior ability to effectively remove dust and allergens from carpets. To meet these certifications, Dyson uprights have passed a series of stringent tests based on an extension of existing vacuum cleaner industry standards developed by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) as well as the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
Certification has come through a partnership between the independent organization, Allergy Standards Limited (ASL), and the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) -- a not-for-profit organization and the leading US patient advocacy group.
