What will I be charged for shipping?

Shipping charges for books, movies, CDs and video games are as follows: $1.40 to ship one item, $2.80 for two, and a flat $2.95 shipping charge for 3 or more media items, within the continental United States.

For non-media items, we charge a flat rate of $2.95 for ground shipping to all mailing addresses within the continental United States, regardless of the quantity of products included in your transaction.

Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?

Yes. We can arrange shipping on select products to most zip codes in Alaska and Hawaii for an additional charge. However, due to our shippers' restrictions, we cannot ship to certain zip codes in these states. In addition, there may be certain restrictions on the dimension and weight of packages that we can ship to these states.

Can you ship outside the United States?

Yes. Overstock.com has partnered with DoUWantIt.com to offer international shipping to more than 30 countries worldwide. For more information, click here.

Who will deliver my order?

Overstock.com uses FedEx, UPS Ground or USPS 1st class service for most products, and USF Worldwide for our larger products. We ship most media via USPS Media Mail, and we may use other carriers as necessary depending on your order's size and weight.

When will my order leave the warehouse?

Most products are guaranteed to leave our warehouse within two business days. However, certain large items and products that cannot be shipped by FedEx or UPS are not guaranteed to ship within these parameters. Items that cannot be shipped within two business days will be clearly marked on our product description pages, and at checkout. Your order might also be delayed due to account verification problems - we can usually resolve any such problems within two additional business days.

How do I track my order?

You may view the tracking information on your order from our home page by following these steps:

1. On the left side of the home page, click on 'My Account.' (you may have to scroll down).

2. On the 'My Account' page, enter your email and password.

3. Click on 'Order Status.'

4. Click on the shipping symbol next to the date shipped.

This will take you directly to the shipping carrier's Web site for detailed tracking information. Your order could show 'In Process' or 'Pending' for 2 days before you receive a 'Ship Confirm' message. This means that your order is at our warehouse being prepared for shipment. Do you offer premium delivery service?

Yes. For those occasions when you need something in a hurry, we offer premium next day and 2nd day air service for select products for an additional charge. Premium delivery service options are available at checkout.

Do you refund shipping charges?

Shipping charges are refunded if:

  1. We ship an incorrect product
  2. A product was shipped from our warehouse broken or defective
  3. A product was damaged during shipping

If we re-ship a product in these cases, there will be no second shipping charge.
